Who we are

This site is run by Beyond Arc Ltd (trading as Websites by Arc), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16813460, based in Chorley, Lancashire. You can reach us at hello@websitesbyarc.co.uk.

What we collect

When you use the quote form, the details you enter are submitted directly to Websites by Arc. That can include your business name, email address, what you do, where you work, website or social links, the plan you are interested in, and your message. We also process limited technical information used to deliver and protect the form, including your IP address, browser user agent, referring page, country and Cloudflare request identifier.

Where it goes

Cloudflare processes the form for us and sends the enquiry to our protected Google Workspace business mailbox. The website does not use advertising trackers or sell your details.

How we use it

We use enquiry details to answer you, prepare a fixed quote, and, if you go ahead, deliver and run your website. For an enquiry, our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract and our legitimate interests in responding to genuine business enquiries. We don’t sell your information.

Business outreach

We may use limited contact and business information from public business sources, such as a business’s own website, Companies House, maps and public directories, to decide whether our service may be relevant and to contact the business. Where UK data-protection law applies, our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in finding and speaking to potential business customers. We also apply the electronic-marketing rules that cover the type of business and contact route involved.

Our outreach is specific and limited. You can object to marketing at any time by replying or emailing hello@websitesbyarc.co.uk. We record the minimum information needed on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again.

How long we keep it

We normally delete an unsuccessful enquiry 12 months after our last meaningful contact. If you become a client, we keep the records needed to deliver and support your site and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, normally for up to six years after the relevant relationship or accounting period ends. We retain the minimum suppression record without a fixed end date so that we can honour a marketing objection.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t set advertising or tracking cookies. If we use analytics, it’s a privacy-friendly measure of page visits that doesn’t identify you personally.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@websitesbyarc.co.uk and we’ll sort it. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can contact the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
